ABOUT
I aim to create a work where women compose a passionate and vital landscape, uniting them across the world. A graphic work - collaborative, universal testimony, timeless and egalitarian - that will be created by women and for women.
500 “footprints” of the Mound of Venus to be gathered, 500 engravings, 500 anonymous signatures, a passionate landscape which unites them with the world.
Mingling cultures, colours, religions, personalities, love, tenderness, and sensuality, to create a dimension where we can get lost, as in a dream.

The women are at the same time creators and "models" of a joint work, representing at the same time the abstract and anonymous, both individual and collective.

The project / work expresses a reflection on modern womanhood, encouraging women to be active, to assert themselves as the master of their own lives, to alone define their femininity, and to reclaim their bodies.
​
The goal is not to promote the radical, but to allow women to express their attachment to female and human values.
Without crossing to the “dark side,” this portrait, this part of the whole, should not be restricted by only what is seen and supplant the whole “being”.
Through the creation by each woman, a representation of an expressive and liberated body is created, far removed from the stereotypes of “women’s magazines”.

Concretely, each woman that wish to participate is supposed to send the author its own piece of work, namely, pubis imprint on a blank piece of paper. It is suggested that the imprint is made with the lipstick.

“Through long corridors, bodies, through lives.
The day fades, night falls, and the body falls.
Footsteps, laughter, exclamations. Interrupted by silences, the corridors are emptying.
On the cold floor, restraint, fragility.
The purity of a gesture at the intimate moment, bitter truth of a conscience scattered to the four winds. Threaded, wounded, bruised.
She was there, on her back, modest in its cardboard box, under the neon lights.
They quickly circulated in the vast corridors.
It was evening, half-naked, she folded her shirt and prepared to sleep... "
